So it is the end of AVB, one of the best nights ever. It was great because everyone was there! We were all buzzing and it was nonstop action for 8 hours! Buzzing, joints, vicks - god dammit I love that combo so much that thinking about it gives me chills. Ok, I need to stop that because I'm sounding like a real addict. Too bad we couldn't get a taxi ride and had to walk in the rain or else we would've hit the after party for more! Can't wait till Parklife already! haha Meanwhile, I shall get my daily dosage at other places until this huge event. Seriously, getting addicted to this shit but it's not so bad when its once in awhile :p. And raving to trance is just sooo fun. I'm totally cool with my crazy moves on the dance floor haha. You'd just have to be there to know it. I was so sad when the night ended, felt like it went by real fast. I could've danced there another 12 hours!
Ah wells, gonna hit tunnel this weekend. Must remember the sunnies this time!
Here is some photos from the night:

Today I totally felt buggered. It really hit me today and I just remembered that I had to go watch cirque du soleil: Varekai. That was really spectacular as I've never been to a circus before and I was in the front row. It's not like the traditional kind of circus with animals, it's just really beautiful acrobatics, really amazing. You should really go watch it if you get the chance. It's very much a theatrical circus. Beautiful music which is all performed live and loosely follows greek mythology (at least Varekai was). There were quite a few times where I gasped at the acrobatic performances. I would definately go watch another of cirque du soleil's shows when they come down again with another play!

Until next time, PEACE

Tetris mania

I been trying to master the art of t-spin on tetris. Damn, really makes tetris a new exciting game though with mario music already does the job. I been tetris dsing so much that I start to see things in terms of tetris. Like this Japanese game show totally reminds me of tetris t-spins. Thanks eric...

Anyway, I watched Blades of Glory just then. You must go download the axxo rip. Will Ferrel and Jon Heder's ice skating routine is freakin awesome... I laughed till I cried. Havent had that much of a laugh in ages. Also "School for scoundrels" is another great Jon Heder movie. He's so cute and dorky!

I almost forgot about my blog, but reading Annie's and seeing all that she's been up to compelled me to write something, atleast.
So I've been rather busy these 2 weeks mainly because its almost the end of semester and this is when I leave all my major assignments as I work tremendously well in the miniscule hours which I leave myself. To my devastation - both times, when I pulled an all nighter to finish these horrendous assignments and pull myself out of bed in the morning, I walk into class not only to be greeted by the teacher BUT informing me that "I have given an extension on the assignments and they can now be handed in at the end of semester". When that happened to me again today.... I just felt like running into a brick wall. Thank god I have it out of the way though, because even though I have that extension I know I wouldn't touch that piece of shit.
My book was utter crap, sorry I mean IS but I'm quite proud of the Scarface DVD Package which I made. Not too bad for a 10 hour job + tetris in between.
For those interested, here a sneak preview of the final product:

Well anyway I hate to talk about uni and other than this I haven't been out too much.

I watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End today, and I don't want to spoil the movie for my readers (even if I wanted to, I couldn't to much avail because this movie was damned hard to follow, and NO it is not just me). Albeit I'd like to express my thoughts on this spin off.
So this much anticipated film was really put on a pedastool and simply, fell short of it's goal. It was still entertaining none the less if you go into the film with an open mind and simply sit there for 170minutes and just enjoy without thinking - just watching Depp prancing around with his eyeliner on again (I happen to like watching that). This is another example where they try to do too much with 101 plots simultaneously running and none leading anywhere. You could tell that they just tried very hard to wrap up all the story lines which they had started but in dreadful ways which were an anticlimax. Sad to say that the star of the show Sparrow wasn't really much of a joy to watch as he was in the first or second. He's not the same Sparrow as we knew him to be and sadly I wasn't able to laugh more than once throughout this 2 hour 48minute long marathon. But considering this was originally just a Disney land ride turned into a super successful movie - it was still entertaining even with all that is happening that you are just expected to ignore the plot holes, or else seriously it will drive you insane as to why this and this happened. The answer is they never answer! It's a simple plot turned into some confusing extravaganza and you'd have to be a genius to be able to keep up with the pace of the movie. Right from the beginning I was trying to keep up with the previous plot but I'd have all these new ones thrown at me.
Anyway I think you guys get the point. It is just another shallow blockbuster but with amazing CGI. I do understand the movie now because I've accepted that those sort of questions just weren't answered and some were dealt with in one liners I afraid to say. So if anyone has seen it and is confused I am happy to enlighten you about the movie which I've already pondered and read up on for 3 hours... unsettlingly.
It is also not surprising that the ending is left open for a 4th movie if they ever want to leech more money. Honestly, I think they should just stop milking this already dead cow just so Depp and Rush (and the other talented actors besides Bloom and Knightly) can have some dignity. Because no matter how many flaws this movie has, it will still rake in the cash. I just think these actors don't need to become sellouts! Though having said this if a 4th was out I would still go and watch it, but this time without using my brain.
Atleast this was better than Pirates 2: Dead Man's Chest and this 3rd installment is truly a Depp-fest - a tad lame but I am not complaining!

Rating: 7/10 sometimes I think I'm just too smart for these sort of films, I should just learn to sit back and relax haha :P

carl freakin cox yeaa

Time : 1:45 PM

The start of a great freaking night was when I found a parking spot right next to billboards, minus the speeding fine I got because I was too excited to get there but first one for the year. Good on ya.
So we were lining up and some chick was selling a spare ticket so we got that for Andy, lucky bastard, and what a sad case for the girl who didn't go. Missed out big time! We were at the front of the line already but jumped out to wait for Andy, so guess where we went. Good ol eurotrash. Mr hot dj was there. When I walked in I saw Diana Yuen, of all places, how strange. So I said hi to her and talked crap for 5 minutes. It was so loud that it was like talking to a brick wall. Our conversation when something on the lines of this:

me: oh so pat added me on msn a few nights ago, haven't seen that girl in ages.
diana: really? is he cuteee? keke
me: yeaaa my friends outside i'm just waiting for him.
diana: oh you know that guy do you know who he is?
me: what who... -silence- anyway i'm gonna go have drinks now -runs away-

It was the most awkward conversation ever since I felt like I was standing there talking to myself.
So at eurotrash I popped my pill, too bad it wasn't a speed pill so I didn't go the whole night. And shortly after we were headed to carl cox!
Got in about... 12 and carl cox didn't come on till 2pm. So I wasted all my peaking time on this fucking black kunt who looks fucking like carl cox but skinnier, but when your high and hard house music is freaking awesome. But when carl cox came on you could just tell he was so much better and the crowd went off. I mean what other big black man can spin 6 turntables at the same time. He played a 3 hour set but we were hammered by 4.30am, not too bad considering we danced that long on smackies.
Driving home I almost shat in my pants, but honestly I was too in lala land to even flinch coz I had to drive pass a drug bus but good ol baby blue suby didn't get stopped, then I thought I was clear then 2 high way cop cars speed behind me on each lane beside me. So I slowed down and looked all cool as usual and thought about shitting in my pants, but thank god they know that a baby blue suby must be driven by a law abiding citizen! Quickly got off that freaking freeway and got home and tried to sleep. All I could hear was carl cox in my hears and it really hurt so I just flipped around to bloody 8am blah.
Anyway that was my night, all I could say was that it was worth every penny and I love that big man. cox rocks my socks!
